Since the Church PCC agreed to support the organisation of these audax events everything has gone really smoothly! The local school are providing the facilities free of charge, members of the church have pulled together with offers of cake and quiche baking. There is a great team to support the organisation, publicity, and on-the-day help. St Francis of Assisi Church in Ingleby Barwick has really stepped out in trust supporting us in this.
I have already received a lot of interest from local riders and from cyclists around the UK. One of the key ways to raise awareness has been the use of online calendars and social media.
Tees and Cake 50km Audax
